The Mission of the Henry County Tourism Bureau

The Henry County Tourism Bureau was formed to promote tourism for Henry County, Illinois; to provide educational opportunities for Henry County's hospitality services; to create and promote awareness of Henry County's history, nature, agriculture, culture, preservation and public use; to cultivate a better understanding of the economic and social value of tourism to the consuming public; and to provide educational opportunities including, but not limited to seminars, workshops and presentations concerning all aspects of tourism.

Manages the daily operations of the Bureau. Organizes, coordinates and implements the Bureau’s policies, projects, and other duties as required. Ex-officio member of the Board of Directors and all committees. Represents the Bureau within Henry County to promote the activities of the Bureau and the benefits of tourism in Henry County. Represents the Bureau outside Henry County at conferences, workshops, meetings, special events and other occasions.
