Fort Obie Rendezvous A Living History Encampment
Friday at Fort Obie Rendezvous is kids education day to learn and experience pre-1840’s life. The rendezvous provides a journey to the time of mountain men and long hunters and life on the American frontiers! The showground features a tipi encampment, black powder shoots, pre-1840 demonstrations, bow shoots, tomahawk and knife throwing, and pre-1840 trade goods. Friday area schools tour the encampment, 9 am to 2 pm. Saturday and Sunday open to the public, 10 am to 4 pm.
