Sample and vote for your favorite Five Roaster Chili Competition downtown at L&J Hometown Market. Meander downtown and visit the local businesses, treats for all! Line up the kids for the Reindeer Fun Run downtown at State Street, Pluck a Penguin duck to win a prize, both young and old! Ugly Christmas Sweaters are requested, the secret ugly sweater patrol will be out, winner takes all! The cheerful holiday evening will end when everyone’s had enough fun!
Andover’s festive Christmas Walk is for all to experience and enjoy! Begin with the tree lighting ceremony and sing along at Andover Lake Park. Warm up with kids crafts and visit with Santa Claus while sampling holiday treats. Windmont Park Light Festival – Celebrate the Season
Windmont Park Light Festival is a magical wonderland. View vivid colors and whimsical lights celebrating the spirit of the Christmas season in Kewanee. Sunday, December 2, Santa arrives in the parade and signals the opening of the season with a fireworks display. The viewing season continues through New Year’s Day.
Take a leisurely drive through Northeast Park and enjoy the lighted displays from the warmth of your vehicle.
A Geneseo Christmas Walk
Geneseo‘s Christmas spirit sparkles, and magic is in the air. Make new memories and keep the old this holiday season in Geneseo, Illinois.
Visit with Santa beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Geneseo Library, then venture off to the Jingle Bell Obstacle Course at the Geneseo Community Center.
Family activities downtown from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. include concerts at the First Congregational Church, Smith Studio & Gallery will offer kids crafts, Central Theatre will offer writing letters to Santa.
