Summer in Henry County is a car lover’s dream starting in June with Annawan’s Fun Days Car Show, which combines Historic Route 6 with vintage cars. July will find the streets of Kewanee filled for a Cruise-in on Friday, July 17, 2015, where classic and vintage cars line the streets for a top 100 car show. August boasts the Cambridge Fest and Auto Show with a day packed full of fun activities centered on vintage cars, antique tractors, crafters, and vendors next to the historic Heritage Village. Finally, for those who love to get up and move while on vacation, check out the many 5Ks over the summer.

If you visit in August, you’ll be near the Clay and Fiber Fest in Bishop Hill where you’ll see creativity around every corner. Potters spin their magic, weavers stitch with care, and brooms are expertly made by artisans throughout the town.

Then continue to fill your belly by heading over to Kewanee’s annual Hog Days Festival.
